Annals of Bariatric Surgery (ABS) is an Open Access clinical journal, officially published by Minimally Invasive Surgery Research Center (MISRC) of Iran University of Medical Sciences and Iranian Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (IRSMBS), and Global Laparoscopic & Robotics (GLR). This is an international journal aimed to publish high-quality peer-reviewed manuscripts about the effects of bariatric and metabolic procedures on weight loss, obesity-related comorbidities, nutritional and psychosocial outcomes. The Editorial Board includes internationally prominent individuals who are an expert member of multidisciplinary team for treatment of morbid obese patients including bariatric surgeons, internists, gastroentrologist, psychiatrists, psychologists, sport medicine physicians, bariatritions, anestheiologist, and nutritional experts. Manuscripts are blindly reviewed by related experts.Article types include: Original Contributions, Review articles, Multimedia articles, Brief Communications, New Concepts, How I Do It, Letters to the Editor and Commentaries.
